Created for small to mid-size hotels, the FidelioXpress F.D.M .system integrates many critical functions to provide the highest level of speed and service available today. Using the system's advanced touch screen technology, front desk personnel can make reservations, check guests in and out, process credit cards, issue keys, and perform other property management tasks with ease. FidelioXpress facilitates an instant, one-step check-in process. Front desk personnel just swipe the guest's credit card and the system automatically brings up the guest's reservation and applies payment information to their credit card. Credit authorisation can be obtained in real time and the system's integrated interface module links with many door locking systems automatically cutting the guest's room key at the same time; thus eliminating double entry of information. Checking out is equally efficient, with a one-step process that brings up all guest charges and automatically invalidates room keys. Group and tour processing are also streamlined with the special features of FidelioXpress. By noting the impending arrival of a group, the system can prepare room keys for each guest and check-in all tour guests at once, no matter what the size of the group. The system's sophisticated room management capability allows hotel management to pick up rooms via a rooming list or individual pick-ups. FidelioXpress can also be set to automatically cut off groups if all held rooms are not picked up by a pre-determined date. FidelioXpress operates on an open Windows®-based system that easily interfaces with other applications and will evolve along with emerging technologies. The system can be fully integrated with the MICROS 3700 Point-of-Sale System, to automatically post restaurant charges to a guest's account. FidelioXpress is also Internet enabled, to provide an end-to-end e-commerce distribution channel. With its interface to FXWeb on-line booking and travel management capabilities, FidelioXpress provides the capability to confirm reservations directly from a hotel's web site.
